Fionna Blair — The Flipside

The Art of Living Well: Embodied, Empowered & Beyond…

The creative and personal side of my work—poetry, prose, photography, essays and long-form writing. A closer look at the inner world, lived experience and meaning behind the frameworks.

Welcome

Hello, I'm Fionna

This website is the creative and personal side of my work — The Flipside. Alongside teaching, peer work and structured learning, it is where I explore my inner world through poetry, prose, personal photography, essays and long-form writing.

It is for readers, event organizers, collaborators and anyone who connects with ideas through story, imagery and reflection. While the Nature vs Nurture ecosystem gives my work its frameworks and form, this website reveals the person, experiences and creative expression behind them — a balance between Nature and Nurture.

If you are everything to everyone, you will soon lose yourself and burn out. Look within to learn how to live again.

The Person Behind the Work

A Balance Between Nature & Nurture

The Nature vs Nurture ecosystem grew from a question that has followed me throughout my life:
What makes us who we become?
Through the NvsN System, that question takes the form of a framework. Here, I explore it more personally—through story, language, imagery and the ongoing work of making meaning from the Murky Middle.
I write from the person beneath the professional roles: someone who continues to learn, unlearn and remember—and who shares that process honestly in the hope that others may recognize something of themselves within it.
